The city gate

The city gate, and parts of the ramparts of the 16th century. The door had a drawbridge that led down to the moat, which further protected the city from the east.

Upper door

The door was part of the city walls, which were built by the Venetian authorities from 1468 to 1470. Restored in 1993 year with donations Sukošan immigrants in the U.S.
